Nitrous Oxide (NOx) Sensor Repairs

What happens if my NOx sensor fails?

NOx (nitrous oxide) sensors are fitted in vehicles in order to analyse the emissions. If the NOx sensor fails, it can lead to a number of fault lights coming on in the dashboard – at our workshop in Llantrisant, we have the technology to read the error codes and establish if it is indeed the NOx sensor that has failed.

It’s not particularly difficult to repair a NOx sensor, but it can be expensive. However, there is the option of using a refurbished sensor which will reduce costs and generally they work as well as a new one, although may not have the same lifespan.

These are all points to consider so our advice is to call the team at Euro Performance. We are experienced in repairing and fitting NOx sensors and are here to answer your questions and advise you on how to proceed.

At Euro Performance we believe it’s important to prove we are as good as we say we are. We are therefore members of several, highly-respected, industry bodies who vet their members rigorously and regularly. These include IMI, RMI, Trading Standards, Trust My Garage, and Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency, to name but a few.
